World AIDS Day has been taking place on December 1st for over 30 years. On the occasion of this day we would like to reach as many people as possible with our “helper cell campaign” in line with the motto “#knowledge doubling” in order to stop the exclusion and discrimination of HIV-positive people in our country and to avoid new infections with the HI virus. For this we need you as active helpers, who carry out their own information stands and campaigns in schools and thus actively reduce prejudices against HIV-positive people.

For all participants in the campaign, a training course will take place on Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in the large lecture hall at the Ulm School of Design, Am Hochsträß 10, 89081 Ulm. In the lecture #knowverdoppeln you will learn more about the enormous advances in the treatment of HIV and you can ask questions directly to an HIV-positive person. At learning stations you will receive current inputs on HIV and AIDS as well as an introduction to methods of starting a conversation. Then you will get all the information about our campaign, which information material and give aways are available, etc. About the lecture on November 12th. Other interested students, trainee teachers and biology teachers are welcome to come. Participation in the training is important for the smooth running of the helper cell campaigns, so that all helper cells are up to date with the latest knowledge about HIV and can thus double the knowledge at their school.

AIDS-Hilfe provides the material (brochures, red ribbons, condoms, give-aways) for the campaigns. After registering, you will receive a material list, which you should ask for the preparatory meeting on November 12th. brings along.

Please clarify the participation in our campaign with your school principal and trust teacher and send the registration form by November 5th. by fax, e-mail or by post to us. If something is still unclear, you are welcome to contact us with your questions.
